After guiding Northwestern Lehigh to a storybook state title run last fall, Shane Leh has made his next big move. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound quarterback announced Monday night via his X.com account that he’s committed to play Division I football at Marist University.
Leh’s recruitment drew plenty of interest following his breakout junior season. He took visits to Lehigh, Lafayette, Bloomsburg, and East Stroudsburg, while also receiving attention from programs like Colgate, Cornell, Davidson, Stonehill, and Temple. But in the end, it was Coach Mike Willis and the Red Foxes who locked down the talented signal-caller.
Leh was pivotal piece behind Northwestern Lehigh’s undefeated 2024 season, capping it off with a thrilling 36-33 victory over Avonworth in the PIAA Class 3A state championship.
