In a thrilling Senior Night clash, Penn State Wilkes-Barre fought hard but ultimately fell short, losing to Penn State York 80-68. The night was filled with emotion as the team honored their seniors; #2 Elijah Perez, #3 Christopher Killings, #13 Jedidiah Ashton, #15 Jeremiah Miller, #22 Nymier Brooks, ad #23 Willie Anderson.

Wilkes-Barre, now just a week away from the postseason, knew this game was crucial in securing a playoff birth. The senior players certainly rose to the occasion, with #13 Jedidiah Ashton leading the charge, contributing an impressive 23 points, 1 block, 1 steal, 1 assist and 11 rebounds. Not to be outdone, #15 Jeremiah Miller added 13 points, 2 steals, 2 assists, and 8 rebounds. Meanwhile #20 Anton Berga had a solid 16 points, 1 steal, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds, showing the grit and determination necessary for a playoff push.

However, despite the efforts from the Wilkes-Barre seniors, York's starting five proved to be too much to handle. Each of York's starting players scored in double figures, with #1 Marquise McClean leading the charge with 17 points. Number 2 Quentin Wells added 11 points, while #12 Terrell Neal chipped in 15 points. Number 16 John Godinnez finished with 14 points and #23 Sky Thomas led all scorers with 19 points, as York demonstrated their offensive firepower and depth.

Though Wilkes-Barre came up short, the senior leadership on display was undeniable. They will look to carry that intensity into the final stretch of the season. With only 7 days until the postseason begins, the team has solidified their playoff spot. As the seniors gear up for the final push, the energy and fight from this game will surely fuel their drive in the upcoming matchups.
