Crestwood field hockey continues to uphold one of Pennsylvania’s most respected traditions, and the 2025 squad has once again positioned itself among the state’s elite. Behind an experienced senior class and a balanced, disciplined approach, the Comets have built an impressive record with key victories over Warwick, Oley Valley, Wyoming Area, and Northwest Area — showcasing the structure and poise that define the program.
Their 2–0 win over reigning state champion Warwick stands as the highlight of the season so far. Sophomore Kasey Obes opened the scoring before senior Ally George sealed the result off a penalty corner. In goal, senior Madi Geiger made 14 saves to complete the shutout, supported by her twin sister Alex Geiger, who anchored a steady defensive unit. Seniors Allie Myers and Stella Janosczyk have been key two-way contributors, while Mackenzie Kovalski continues to play an important role in defensive organization and transition play.
Under head coach Amanda Tredinnick, Crestwood has maintained the hallmarks of its historic identity — defensive discipline, efficient ball movement, and a commitment to consistent preparation. With nine seniors leading a roster that blends veteran leadership and emerging talent, the Comets have carried the momentum of last year’s District 2 championship into another strong campaign.
As the postseason approaches, Crestwood remains one of the most complete and composed programs in the state. With proven veterans and rising young standouts, the Comets look prepared once again to extend their legacy deep into November — continuing a standard of excellence that has defined Crestwood field hockey for decades.
