Madison Hedglin
Dallas High School Graduate | Misericordia University Student-Athlete

Madison Hedglin’s journey into running began in the 7th grade, when she first stepped onto the cross country course and track. While she initially joined the soccer team, it was her friends who introduced her to track and she instantly fell in love. Since then, her passion has driven her to become one of the most accomplished runners in Dallas High School history.

A 3x State medalist and 3x District champion in cross country, Madison is also a 4x District champion in track, a national qualifier, and a 2x indoor State medalist. Her primary events include the 400 meters and long-distance races, where she has dominated for the past few years.

In the fall as she attends Misericordia University, Madison has her sights set on helping her team reach the national cross country meet. She values teamwork, determination, and the pursuit of balance, both on the course and in the classroom. As an Early Education major, her academic goal is to maintain a strong balance between her studies and athletics.

Madison draws inspiration from her mother and hopes to one day become a teacher and coach. Post college, she dreams of completing a marathon and continuing her lifelong relationship with running.
