One hour after taking down Wyoming Valley West 9-8 in a continued game from their own senior night, the Dallas Mountaineers beat the Lake-Lehman Black Knights 11-3 on their senior night. The Mountaineers played a complete game on both sides of the ball, led by junior pitcher Dominick Zangardi and senior outfielder Kaden Coyne.
Abington Heights sophomore Adrianna Condrad has been recognized as one of the top young softball talents in the nation, earning the No. 10 pitcher ranking in the Class of 2027 for the Northeast region and No. 59 nationally by Extra Inning Softball. A standout left-handed pitcher and offensive force, Condrad continues to impress with her dominance in the circle and her ability to produce at the plate, solidifying her status as a rising star in the sport.

The second and final day of the District Two Track & Field Championships took place at Memorial Stadium, despite doubts of whether rain would ruin proceedings. The events went on and there are a lot of winners and big time moments to go over from the day.

The Tunkhannock Tigers softball team took down their conference rivals, the Dallas Mountaineers, 6-2 on May 8. This was the second meeting this season between the two schools, with Dallas winning the first matchup 6-5 back on April 17. The win marked the ninth straight for the Tigers as they improved to 16-1 on the season.
