Delaware Valley head coach Keith Olsommer will be recognized as the Scranton Lions Club Man of the Year at this summer’s Dream Game, set for July 23 at John Henzes Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Olsommer, a former Penn State standout and NFL hopeful, has built one of the region’s most dominant high school football programs since taking over in 1999. After early struggles, he led Delaware Valley to 10 District 2 championships, nine division titles, and nearly 200 career wins—good for seventh all-time among LIAA coaches.
Four of Olsommer’s former Warriors will suit up for the County team at this year’s all-star showdown for an more memorable evening of football and achievement.
From reshaping a struggling program to creating a football powerhouse, Olsommer’s impact on NEPA football is undeniable—and this summer, the Dream Game will celebrate the legacy he’s still building.
