Old Forge Wins District 2 2A Boys Title

From the opening tipoff to the final buzzer, Old Forge made a statement. From the opening dunk by Logan Fanning to the final buzzer. Old Forge defeated Lackawanna Trail 54-32 on Saturday afternoon to win the District 2 2A Title. Fanning had a game high 20 points and DJ Fox added 11.
The opening basket was a dunk by Fanning and the Blue Devils raced to a 19-3 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Lions outscored Old Forge in the second quarter 8-6 but trailed 26-10 at halftime. The Blue Devils cruised through the second half to take the 54-32 victory over Lackawanna Trail. It is the first District Title for Old Forge since 2021. For Lackawanna Trail, Lorenzo Domiano had a team high 11 points and Jake Antolick added 10 points.
