North Pocono Rolls Past Lackawanna Trail, 69–22
North Pocono put together a dominant performance on the court, defeating Lackawanna Trail 69–22 in girls basketball action.
The Lady Trojans set the tone early, racing out to a commanding 30–2 lead by the end of the first quarter. North Pocono’s pressure defense and fast-paced offense continued to overwhelm Trail in the second quarter, sending NP into halftime with a decisive 53–10 advantage.
Ella Clementoni led the way for North Pocono with a game-high 22 points, including an explosive 20-point first quarter that helped put the game out of reach early. Alexis Silva also turned in a strong performance for the Trojans, finishing with 16 points.
Despite the tough matchup, Lackawanna Trail continued to battle, with Ayla Seigle providing the offensive highlight for the Lady Lions. Seigle scored 16 of Trail’s 22 points, leading her team in scoring.
North Pocono maintained control throughout the second half, using balanced scoring and solid defensive play to seal the 69–22 victory.
