Game Recap

The South struck first, taking a 10-6 lead into halftime behind the poise and accuracy of quarterback Madden Patrick, who went 8-for-11 for 121 yards and a touchdown. His rhythm with wideout Jayce McCoy was evident, connecting twice for 54 yards, including a critical third-down conversion. Patrick’s performance earned him the South Offensive MVP.

On the ground, Elijah Jordan gave the North defense problems with his speed and vision. He totaled 72 yards from scrimmage (32 rushing, 40 receiving) and provided multiple chunk plays, earning him the Russ Manney Most Outstanding Player honor.

But the North turned it on after halftime, fueled by Samir Williams, who rushed 10 times for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns, including a momentum-shifting 38-yard score that gave North their first lead of the night. He also made an impact on special teams with 47 return yards.

The South tried to mount a late rally and got within four points after a field goal, but Varrius Farrell and the North defense stood firm. Farrell finished with 6 tackles and disrupted the pocket on multiple passing downs, earning Defensive MVP for the North.
