Valley View wasted no time taking control against Scranton, using a pair of lightning-fast strikes in the opening minutes to set the tone for a 3-0 victory.

The scoring started almost immediately, as Ethan Namlick found the back of the net at the 1:33 mark of the first half. The play developed quickly, with Jagger Roe slipping a pass through the defense and Namlick calmly finishing to give the Cougars a 1-0 edge.

The lead doubled just three minutes later when Braden Loff connected at 4:53. Namlick, fresh off his goal, turned provider by threading a ball into space for Loff, who blasted it past the keeper to make it 2-0 before the game had even settled in.

Scranton tried to push back but Valley View’s back line held firm, while keeper Aidan Kopa came up with key stops to keep the Knights off the board.

In the second half, the Cougars kept the pressure on and eventually put the game out of reach. At the 73:07 mark, senior Kevin Dougher capped the scoring by tucking away a feed from Roe, who collected his second assist of the night. That strike gave Valley View all the breathing room it needed to close things out.

Behind an organized defense and steady goalkeeping from Kopa, the Cougars completed the shutout, turning their early offensive surge into a convincing 3-0 win.

Final: Valley View 3, Scranton 0.
