Jessup Youth Sports Complex, Jessup, PA --

Mid Valley came out swinging—and they didn’t stop. A 9-run first inning set the tone for a dominant offensive display as Mid Valley powered past North East Scranton, 16-6, in Monday night’s District 32 11U showdown.

The bats were electric, the crowd was loud, and the scoreboard lit up early in a matchup that brought plenty of fireworks to the Carbino Club diamond.

Mid Valley’s Offensive Showcase

  • Cooper H had a monster night, going 2-for-3 with 4 RBIs, driving in two runs in the first and adding another pair later on.
  • Dean R was a spark in the second inning, lacing a 2-RBI triple and pitching in with two hits overall.
  • Nash S delivered at the plate with a 2-RBI single and drew a bases-loaded walk to keep the runs pouring in.

Mid Valley piled up 16 total hits, with Charlie J, Conor O, Gabe Z, Dean R, Cooper H, and Nash S all recording multi-hit games. On the hill, Conor O held down the fort with 3.2 innings of relief, striking out five to keep NE in check.

North East Scranton’s Fight

  • Jaxon Z was a bright spot at the top of the lineup, going 2-for-2 to spark the offense.
  • Ben H and Michael M each drove in a run, while Nixon M showed patience with two walks to help fuel early pressure.
  • Despite falling behind early, NE showed grit by drawing eight walks in the game and putting together strong plate appearances throughout.

Final Word

Mid Valley’s bats were alive and well in Jessup, putting up big time numbers in each of the first two innings to take control early. North East Scranton battled through and showed flashes of offensive discipline, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome.

As District 32 11U play continues, Mid Valley’s mix of power, patience, and pitching puts them firmly on the radar as one to watch, but lets not count out those boys from North East!
