At John Henzes Veterans Memorial Stadium, Valley View delivered a dominant all-around performance as Braden Loff recorded a hat trick to lead the Cougars past Honesdale, 6-0, in a Division I matchup.
Loff opened the scoring midway through the first half on a setup from Ethan Namlick, then added two more goals—one before halftime off a feed from Jagger Roe and another early in the second half assisted by Liam Walsh. Roe contributed across the board with two assists and a goal of his own, while Hunter Kissell and Namlick also found the back of the net.
Goalkeeper Aidan Kopa turned aside all five shots he faced to secure the clean sheet for Valley View, which outshot Honesdale 24-5 and held an 8-2 edge in corner kicks.
Honesdale’s goalkeeper, Schweighofer, made 18 saves under heavy pressure. The Cougars improved to 6-7 in league play and 8-9 overall.
