BLOOMSBURG, Pa. — October 4, 2025 — Lock Haven University delivered a dominant performance on Saturday afternoon, defeating Bloomsburg University 38–17 in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchup at Redman Stadium. The win marks the third consecutive triumph for the Bald Eagles over their in-state rivals and their first road victory of the season.
Senior quarterback Jackson Ostrowsky led the charge with an impressive outing, throwing for 303 yards and three touchdowns while completing 21 of 28 passes with no interceptions. His return to the starting lineup injected immediate energy into the offense, which racked up 402 total yards.
Lock Haven improved to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in PSAC East play, while the Huskies dropped to 1-4 (0-2 PSAC East).
After falling behind 3–0 early in the first quarter, Lock Haven answered with a 7-yard touchdown run by Cureem Hathcock, taking a 6–3 lead. Following a Bloomsburg score to make it 10–6, the Bald Eagles regained momentum in the second quarter.
Justin Popovich caught the first of his two touchdown receptions with 10:02 remaining in the half, and Lock Haven went up 14–10. Later, Popovich and Ostrowsky connected again on a 32-yard score, extending the lead to 21–10.
Though Bloomsburg closed the gap to 21–17 just before halftime, Lock Haven dominated the second half — outscoring the Huskies 17–0 — and shutting them out completely over the final two quarters.
