Jamie Calloway is a professional basketball player who made the leap from high school to the pro ranks, a testament to his dedication, work ethic, and belief in the long game. Originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, and now based in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Jamie didn’t start playing basketball until 9th grade. But as he puts it: “It’s not always about how you start, it’s about where you're going.”

A graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Jamie credits mentors Josh Mason, Matt Flanagan, and Darnell Ford for recognizing his potential early and helping shape his path. Their unwavering belief in him, combined with a clear vision and consistent support, were key to his development.

His journey hasn't come without adversity. From battling through minor injuries to the mental challenges of staying motivated and disciplined, Jamie has learned what it means to show up every day—regardless of the obstacles.

Now, Jamie is focused on giving back. He runs his own basketball training business, where he mentors and trains youth athletes. His approach goes beyond physical skills, emphasizing the mental side of the game and helping young players build confidence, resilience, and character. With aspirations to step into coaching, Jamie is committed to shaping the next generation of talent, on and off the court.
