Milford, PA – It wasn’t just a volleyball match — it was a test of heart, composure, and grit. The Lake-Lehman Lady Knights walked into Delaware Valley’s gym and walked out with a statement win, grinding out a thrilling 3–2 victory that came down to the final few points.

The night didn’t start their way. Lehman dropped the opening set, 17–25, and found themselves needing to respond. Instead of folding, the Lady Knights leaned on their chemistry and resilience. They clawed out a narrow 25–23 win in the second set, then turned the tide completely with a commanding 25–18 third set.

Delaware Valley wasn’t going away quietly, answering with a 25–20 win to force a decisive fifth. That’s when Lehman’s toughness shined brightest. Every point was a battle, the crowd on its feet, momentum swinging back and forth. But when it mattered most, Lehman stayed calm and closed out the set 15–12 — sealing a road win that felt bigger than just another tally in the standings.

Leaders Step Up

  • Abby Fugok was everywhere, racking up 10 service points, 4 aces, and 15 digs.

  • Giolla Biscotto set the tone with 30 assists while adding 7 service points and 3 aces.

  • Alexandra Patla brought the power at the net with 11 kills.

  • Isabelle Maopolski was a force, finishing with 10 kills, 2 blocks, 8 service points, and 3 aces.

A Team Win

This wasn’t about one player — it was about an entire group refusing to let go of the rope. Every dig, every serve, every kill mattered, and Lake-Lehman made sure the big moments belonged to them.

With this win, the Lady Knights proved they’re not only talented — they’re tough. And that toughness could carry them far as the season continues.
