The Lady Wreckers All Stars pulled off a dramatic 7-6 extra-inning victory over Warrington on Sunday in Section 6 play, earning a spot in the championship game and moving one win away from a trip to states.

Warrington opened the scoring in the first inning with back-to-back RBI plays — one on a single by Harper and the other on a groundout by Kylee. The Wreckers quickly responded, tying it up at two apiece by the second inning thanks to aggressive baserunning and a passed ball.

In the third, the Wreckers took the lead when Isabella was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to bring in a run, and Cassidy drew a walk to push across another, making it 4-2.

Warrington battled back in the fourth with RBI singles from Sydney and Livvy, followed by a run scoring on a passed ball to take a 5-4 lead. An error allowed the Wreckers to even things up in the sixth.

After Livvy grounded out to drive in a run and give Warrington a 6-5 lead in the top of the seventh, the Wreckers mounted one last rally. Briella delivered a clutch infield single to tie the game, and moments later the game-winning run scored on a passed ball, sealing the walk-off win.

Kenzie pitched six strong innings for the Wreckers, allowing six hits and five runs (four earned), striking out seven while throwing 108 pitches. Briella came on in relief in the seventh and was dominant, retiring all three batters she faced and striking out two.

Offensively, Kenzie and Briella each recorded a hit. Cassidy and Briella drove in one run apiece. The Wreckers drew eight walks and stole 10 bases — Kenzie led the way with three, while Mia, Aubrey, and Myah each added two. Behind the plate, Isabella was a rock defensively, recording 11 putouts with no errors.

Harper led Warrington with a 2-for-3 performance and an RBI. Sydney walked twice and drove in a run, while Livvy also added a hit and an RBI. On the mound, Harper was dominant with 16 strikeouts over six innings, giving up just two hits and three earned runs. Warrington walked six times and swiped six bases, led by Harper, Maddie, and Dempsey with two each.

It was a competitive and well-played game by both teams, but the Lady Wreckers’ poise and execution in the final moments secured the win and a spot in the Section 6 championship game Tuesday night.
