The Northwest Lady Rangers continued their impressive season with a 4-2 victory over the Muncy Indians in the first round of the playoffs. With solid hitting and sharp defense, the Lady Rangers held off a late push from Muncy to advance to the next round.
Northwest got the offense going early, plating two runs in the second inning and another two in the third to take a 4-0 lead. The Rangers collected eight hits on the day, spreading production across the lineup.
Addisyn Diltz led the offensive charge with two hits, while Ava Ruckle added a hit and crossed the plate for one of the team’s four runs. Natallia Ninotti had a standout performance, delivering two hits including a crucial home run and tallying 2 RBIs. Olivia Nevel also contributed with two hits and scored once, and Callie Moyer chipped in with a hit and a run scored.
Muncy attempted a comeback in the fourth inning, managing to push across two runs, but the Lady Rangers' defense held strong to close out the game and secure the win.
The playoff win is just the latest success in a season full of accomplishments for Northwest. Several players earned league honors for their regular season performances:

Jenna Robaczewski – 1st Team Pitcher
Head coach Kevin Harvey was also recognized as Coach of the Year, a fitting tribute to a leader who has guided the team to both on-field success and postseason recognition.
The Lady Rangers now set their sights on the next playoff round, riding the momentum of a strong team performance and a season full of accolades.
