The Penn State Wilkes-Barre Lady Lions are now on a three-game losing streak after falling 69-49 to Penn State Schuylkill on Tuesday night. Despite an outstanding individual performance by #0 Lamarsha Wilson, who scored a career-high 27 points, Wilkes-Barre struggled offensively and could not handle the pressure from Schuylkill.
Wilson's all-around effort included 5 steals, 2 assists, and 9 rebounds making it a memorable night for the star player. The Lady Lion's offense faltered and Schuylkill capitalized on their opportunities, especially with three of their five seniors scoring in double figures.
#5 Tajae Stevenson led the way with 18 points, #23 Allison Crockett added 13 points and #2 Nadia King contributed 10 points in the Senior Night win for Schuylkill. Off the bench, #15 Serena Jones also had a strong showing with 14 points to help seal the victory.
As the season draws to a close, the Lady Lions will look to finish strong when they take on Penn State Lehigh Valley in their final game on Friday.
