Lackawanna Football Conference Media Day Sets the Stage for the 2025 Season

OLYPHANT, PA — With the 2025 high school football season quickly approaching, excitement filled the Regal Room in Olyphant as the Lackawanna Football Conference held its annual Media Day.

The event brought together teams from across the region along with representatives from local media outlets including NPF Football, The Scranton Times, Eastern PA News, local TV stations, and more. It was a day to connect, preview the season ahead, and highlight the student-athletes and coaches preparing for kickoff.

SportzWire’s Justin and Doug spent time with many of the teams, capturing interviews that mixed football talk with a bit of fun. The conversations were relaxed and upbeat—providing a refreshing break from the usual X’s and O’s and giving everyone a chance to enjoy the moment before the grind of the season begins.
