On a celebratory Senior Night, Susquehanna honored basketball seniors Phoenix Porth, Rykin Hobart, and Octavius Nicholson, as well as cheerleaders Skyla Wanamaker, Brionna West, Kyla Seidel, and Meghan Perry, with a convincing 55-40 win over Blue Ridge.
Mason Keyes led the Sabers with a stellar 19-point performance, including four three-pointers that energized the crowd. Griffin Fisk added 11 points, including a crucial three-pointer. The Sabers dominated from beyond the arc, sinking nine three-pointers as a team.
For Blue Ridge, Gehrig Dibble topped the scoring with 14 points, while William Hobart chipped in 11. Despite their efforts, the Raiders struggled from deep, failing to convert a single three-pointer.
Susquehanna’s balanced attack and solid shooting, particularly from long range, propelled them to a Division III victory, improving to 8-14 on the season. Blue Ridge falls to 9-13.
