KINGSLY, PA — The Mountain View Eagles flexed their offensive muscles Friday night, overpowering Susquehanna 65-20 in a lopsided Division III matchup. Dominating on both ends of the court, Mountain View shut out Susquehanna in the first quarter and never looked back.
Junior Addison Kilmer led the charge, scoring a game-high 22 points while hitting four three-pointers. Fellow junior Aubrey Sanders added 20 points, including an impressive six shots from beyond the arc. Senior Ryleigh Kilmer rounded out the double-digit scorers with 11 points, knocking down three three-pointers.
Mountain View’s defense was equally formidable, holding Susquehanna to just one field goal in the second half. Senior Lauren Huyck paced Susquehanna with 9 points, all from three-point range, but it wasn’t enough to stem the Eagles’ tide.
The Eagles improved to 8-2 on the season and 2-0 in division play, solidifying their position as contenders in the league. Meanwhile, Susquehanna continues to search for their first win of the season.
