The 2025 FAME Scholarship recipients—Lauren Kane, Jimmy Gryskewicz, Ella Wilson, and Sarah Williams—embody everything the award stands for: relentless effort, consistent character, and a commitment to personal growth both on and off the field.

The FAME Scholarship is funded through community-driven events and fundraising efforts held throughout the year. Recipients are selected based on their work ethic, personal growth, commitment to their sport, contributions to their school and community, and their pursuit of excellence. This year’s honorees reflect those values in full.

Lauren Kane, now a senior at Quinnipiac University, has set the tone for what dedication looks like. A true “gym rat” since her high school freshman year, Lauren blended strength training with long-distance endurance work, regularly racing 5Ks and challenging herself against more experienced athletes. She embraced the underdog role and rose to every challenge through sheer grit and resilience.

Jimmy Gryskewicz, entering his freshman year at Lock Haven University, has become known for his around-the-clock work ethic. Whether lifting, running, or doing both in a single session, Jimmy built a reputation for showing up—every day, every time. His leap in performance from junior to senior year is a direct result of his discipline and drive.

Ella Wilson, a standout in both basketball and volleyball, is set to play Division II basketball at Mercy College in New York. With over 1,500 career points and All-State recognition, Ella has made her mark—but it’s her commitment to the weight room and to self-improvement that truly distinguishes her. Her consistency and hunger to grow speak volumes.

Sarah Williams will compete in cross country and track at East Stroudsburg University. Known for her early morning solo training sessions and quiet determination, Sarah’s progress didn’t come quickly—it came because she trusted the process and stayed the course. Her journey reflects a deep-rooted passion for the sport and an unmatched work ethic.

These four student-athletes didn’t just earn a scholarship—they earned the respect of their peers, coaches, and the FAME community. They are proof that when talent meets effort, remarkable things happen.

The FAME Scholarship is more than an award—it’s a recognition of heart, humility, and the relentless pursuit of better.
