Lake-Lehman High School Alum | Senior at Bloomsburg University

The true definition of tough, disciplined, and resilient, Jacob Simoson has built his football journey on perseverance and purpose. A graduate of Lake-Lehman High School, Jacob is now a senior Offensive Guard for Bloomsburg University.

Jacob is a soon to be Criminal Justice graduate and maintains a 3.5 GPA. He exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated student-athlete. Despite a string of setbacks—including a redshirt freshman year, a season-ending foot injury as a sophomore, and a concussion that sidelined him from Weeks 3 to 9 in his junior year, Jacob never wavered in his commitment to the sport he loves.

He draws strength and inspiration from his father, whose resilience helped shape Jacob’s own determined mindset. He lives by a quote from his offensive line coach:
"Your easiest day was yesterday."
This mantra drives Jacob and his teammates to challenge themselves daily, pushing beyond limits to grow tougher and stronger every day.

Jacob plans to return for a 5th year and is motivated to finish his college career on a high note. Post-college, he hopes to play at the next level and pursue a career in law enforcement.
