When Wyoming Seminary’s Ella Stambaugh found the back of the net for the 50th time in her career, it wasn’t just another goal. It was a moment that captured years of hard work, countless practices, and a competitive spirit that never seems to fade.

From the time she was four years old chasing a soccer ball around local fields, Ella has had a natural connection to the game. That love for soccer carried her into nationally recognized clubs like Lehigh Valley United and PDA, where she learned what it meant to compete at the highest level. Those experiences built the foundation for the player she is today — confident, unselfish, and relentless.

What makes Ella special isn’t just the goals she scores, but the way she impacts the people around her. She’s the type of player who can change a game with a single touch, but also the kind of teammate who celebrates just as hard when someone else gets the moment.

And then there’s basketball. Last winter, Ella showed that her talent knows no boundaries. She led her team with over 21 points per game, picked up WVC Division 2 Player of the Year honors, and earned All-State recognition. Still, those who know her best will tell you her greatest strength is how she carries herself — steady, focused, and always putting in the extra work when no one’s watching.

It’s no surprise that colleges have noticed. With offers from some of the most respected Division I programs in the country, Ella has options that most athletes only dream about. But right now, her focus is simple: keep getting better, keep leading her teammates, and keep enjoying every moment she gets to compete.

Scoring 50 goals is a milestone. But for Ella Stambaugh, it’s not the finish line. It’s a reminder of how far she’s come — and how much more is still ahead.
