Austin Finarelli has joined an elite group once again. The former Dallas High School standout and current Elizabethtown College guard reached the 1,000-point mark of his college career, adding another milestone to a résumé that has defined consistency, leadership, and long-term excellence.
Finarelli was already a 1,000-point scorer in high school, where he starred for the Dallas Mountaineers. His senior year, he formed one of District 2’s most dynamic backcourts alongside Nick Nocito, helping lead Dallas on a memorable run to the PIAA Class 4A Final Four. Their guard play and chemistry became the foundation of one of the program’s most successful eras.
At Elizabethtown, Finarelli has continued his upward climb. A multi-year starter and all-conference performer, he has developed into one of the Blue Jays’ most reliable offensive threats. His scoring milestone reflects not only volume, but efficiency and growth—becoming a central piece of the program while delivering big performances in key conference matchups.
By hitting 1,000 points at both the high-school and collegiate levels, Finarelli cements his legacy as one of the most productive guards to come out of northeastern Pennsylvania in the last decade. His work ethic, durability, and competitive fire have carried him from Dallas to the Landmark Conference, and his career at Elizabethtown is far from finished.
