Olivia Milia exploded for six goals to power Easton to a dominant 15-7 win over Freedom on Thursday. The Red Rovers jumped out to a commanding 6-0 lead in the opening quarter and never looked back, improving to 6-3 on the season.

Milia was unstoppable from the start, finishing as the game’s top scorer. She got plenty of support from teammates Ashley Yih and Rowan Krieger, who each tallied two goals and an assist. Addison Stem also found the net twice, while Karsen Hippert, Addison Torok, and Lily Nash chipped in one goal apiece. Ava Parker added an assist.

Despite a late push from Freedom, which scored three goals in the fourth quarter, the Patriots couldn’t dig out of the early deficit and fell to 3-5 on the year.

In goal, Easton’s Olivia Heryla recorded six saves to preserve the victory.

Easton’s offense was clicking on all cylinders, putting up consistent scoring quarters of 6, 1, 4, and 4. Meanwhile, Freedom’s defense couldn’t slow the attack and was held scoreless in the first quarter.

The Red Rovers now look to build on this win as they head deeper into the spring schedule.
