MOSCOW, PA — Under the evening lights at Aston's Sports Complex in Moscow, Dunmore delivered a strong start and clutch pitching down the stretch to secure a 4–2 win over North Pocono in a high-energy matchup between two talented 11-year-old teams.

Dunmore wasted no time getting on the board in the bottom of the first. Cullen H. sparked the offense with a base hit down the left field line. A wild pitch brought in another run, and Giovanni G. added an RBI groundout to cap off a three-run frame.

Luciano C. took the mound first for Dunmore, going three innings while giving up just two runs on three hits. He struck out two and walked three. Andrew K. came on in relief and shut the door, tossing three scoreless innings with six strikeouts and only one hit allowed.

Dunmore’s offense showed great patience at the plate, working six walks as a team. Jacob P. led that effort with two walks and added two stolen bases to keep the pressure on the defense. Rory O., Max H., and Cullen H. each added a hit in the win.

North Pocono battled back with solid defense and timely hits. Luca Z. led the way offensively, going 1-for-2 with an RBI. Emmett B., Colton L., and Lucas F. each chipped in with a hit, while the North Pocono defense was sharp all game, turning a double play and finishing without a single error. Colton L. made four key plays in the field to keep things close.

Both teams showed strong fundamentals, discipline, and effort in what was a well-played game from start to finish.

Final Score:
Dunmore 4, North Pocono 2
Location: 379 O’Hara Road, Moscow, PA
