District XI Football Week 7 Rankings: The Unbeatens Hold, But the Pressure Mounts

Week 7 of District XI football delivered more fireworks as the top teams continue to flex their dominance heading into the homestretch. The undefeated powers across both the Big and Small School divisions kept their perfect seasons alive, while others found themselves in tight battles that reshaped the rankings beneath them.

Breaking it all down once again are two of the Lehigh Valley’s finest football minds, Keith Groller of The Morning Call and Tony Sibilla of Penn Sports Radio, as they continue to rank the best of District XI week after week with SportzWire.


BIG SCHOOL RANKINGS – WEEK 7

1. Parkland

The Trojans are rolling. They pitched their second straight shutout, holding Dieruff to just 16 total yards in a 49-0 rout. TJ Lawrence ran for 117 yards and 4 TDs as Parkland improved to 7-0, allowing only seven points over their last five games.

2. Easton

QB Cole Ordway continues to make his case for MVP, tossing five touchdown passes, tying a school record, and surpassing 1,000 passing yards on the season in a 48-28 dismantling of Northampton.

3. Southern Lehigh

The Spartans leaned on the Colton Sams–Sean Steckert combo once again. Sams threw three TDs on just 13 passes, while Steckert averaged over 16 yards per carry in a 49-6 win over Tamaqua.

4. Nazareth

In one of the wildest EPC thrillers yet, Nazareth edged Liberty 52-42 in a game that featured nearly 1,000 total yards. Marquez Wimberly ran for 168 yards and two TDs, while Cooper Madson threw for 231 yards.

5. Liberty

Despite the loss, the Hurricanes still flashed offensive firepower. Antonio Fontanez threw for 316 yards and three scores, while Zyaire Davis added two TDs and a 97-yard fumble-return score.

6. Whitehall

The Zephyrs avoided a scare from Emmaus behind Jezia Gregory’s 259 rushing yards and Tanner Dogmanits’ two passing TDs. Whitehall improves to 6-1 heading into a key stretch.

7. Freedom

The Patriots pushed past .500 with a 28-6 win over Bethlehem Catholic — their third straight. The defense has been lights-out, allowing just 13 points in the streak.

8. Northampton

Despite falling to Easton, the K-Kids saw Gavin Taff set the new school record for career passing yards, now sitting at 3,563.

9. Bethlehem Catholic

The Golden Hawks were short-handed without Cayden Vassa and his top receiver Carter Vassa. QB Axel Burkart still managed 153 total yards in a tough loss to Freedom.

10. Allentown Central Catholic

The Vikings rebounded from their Sept. 20 loss to Becahi with two straight wins and look to keep building momentum before a massive Week 8 clash with Parkland.

SMALL SCHOOL RANKINGS – WEEK 7

1. Northwestern Lehigh

The Tigers stayed perfect with a 42-0 shutout of Pottsville as Shane Leh threw for a school-record five touchdowns, three to Brady Zimmerman. They visits Jim Thorpe in Week 8.

2. Notre Dame-Green Pond

Matt Bodnar was clinical — 241 passing yards and four TDs — as NDGP steamrolled Pen Argyl, 59-7. The Crusaders face Palisades next.

3. Schuylkill Haven

Colton Reber was unstoppable again, rushing for 309 yards, seven TDs, and adding a pick-six in a 55-14 rout of Marian Catholic.

4. Williams Valley

Brady Shomper’s two TDs helped the Vikings rebound from a loss with a 35-14 win over Panther Valley. Marian Catholic is next.

5. North Schuylkill

The Spartans bounced back with a 52-22 win over Bangor behind Cayden Mengel’s five total TDs — two passing and three rushing — while Luke Miller piled on 96 rushing yards and two scores.

6. Palisades

Jack Trickel threw for 216 yards and two TDs as the Pirates rolled Palmerton, 41-6. A huge test awaits at NDGP.

7. Pen Argyl

After five straight wins, the Green Knights fell hard to NDGP. They’ll try to bounce back against Saucon Valley.

8. Minersville

Dante Carr threw for 122 yards and two TDs while adding another on the ground in a 43-0 homecoming win over Pine Grove.

9. Northern Lehigh

The Bulldogs dominated Wilson, 42-8, behind QB Garrett Smoyer’s four touchdown passes. They’ll host Catasauqua next.

10. Saucon Valley

Braden Rohn and the Panthers keep lighting up scoreboards — 257 passing yards, three TDs, and a rushing score in a 40-13 win over Salisbury.
