Six players from PIAA District 2 earned Mini Maxwell recognition for the 2025 season, placing them among 55 elite players statewide now in contention for:

  • Pennsylvania State Player of the Year
  • Jim Henry Regional Player of the Year

District 2 Mini Maxwell Recipients:

  • Nick Bradley – Abington Heights
  • Ty Wilkerson – Berwick
  • Mike Iuzzolino – Delaware Valley
  • Brody Spindler – Pittston Area
  • Will McPartland – Scranton Prep
  • Max Getzie – Wyoming Area

Their selection underscores the continued strength of football in Northeastern Pennsylvania, as District 2 programs once again proved they belong among the state’s best.

What the Mini Maxwell Honor Represents

Mini Maxwell recognition is more than a seasonal accolade. It places athletes into a lineage that includes future collegiate stars and professional players, while celebrating the discipline, work ethic, and leadership required to excel at the highest level of high school football.

While only one player will ultimately be named Pennsylvania State Player of the Year, every Mini Maxwell honoree carries a permanent connection to one of football’s most storied traditions.

Awards Night Ahead

The 2025 Mini Maxwell winners will be announced on February 1 at the Annual Mini Max Awards Dinner in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, bringing together players, families, coaches, and football leaders from across the state.

For District 2’s honorees, the night represents both recognition and opportunity, a reminder that Friday night greatness can echo far beyond the lights.
