Abington Heights 49, Scranton 13
Abington Heights won its third straight game and dominated on the ground, scoring six rushing touchdowns. Jayden Anglin has led the way since Nick Bradley went down to injury, as he totaled 72 rushing yards and three touchdowns in this game.
Berwick 56, Selinsgrove 0
Ty’Meere Wilkerson rushed for 300 yards and four touchdowns in another dominant win for Berwick. The Bulldogs defense was imposing, picking off two passes and registering their second shutout of the year.
Scranton Prep 51, Jersey Shore 19
Scranton Prep improved to 5-4 and dominated one of the best teams in the state. Will McPartland had 291 all purpose yards and four touchdowns. The Cavaliers will be a tough out in the district playoffs.
Pittston Area 14, Wallenpaupack 13
Pittston survived thanks to a blocked extra point that ended up being the difference maker. Brody Spindler rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown and Lucas LoPresto added 54 rushing yards with a touchdown.
Wilkes-Barre 35, Crestwood 7
Wilkes-Barre took care of business, getting a 35-0 lead in the third quarter. Davon Underwood rushed for 99 yards and two touchdowns and Jake Howe passed for two touchdowns. The Wolfpack defense also held their opponent to under 10 points for the second straight game.
Riverside 49, Old Forge 8
Riverside led 49-0 going into the fourth quarter and dominated against one of its biggest rivals. The Vikings defense has held six straight opponents to under 10 points. Brayden Rose ran for three touchdowns and threw for two more. It will be a division championship game between Riverside and Lackawanna Trail next week.
Dunmore 50, Honesdale 8
Dunmore tied its season high in points and continues to build momentum for the playoffs. The running game was the Bucks best friend as Westone Yannone rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown and Ryan Mecca rushed for 108 yards and three touchdowns.
Tunkhannock 34, Towanda 27
Tunkhannock won a rivalry game on the road and still has a chance at their first .500 season in 27 years. Lucas Ciprich and Andrew Lupinski both rushed for over 100 yards, with Ciprich scoring four touchdowns.
Valley View 52, Wyoming Valley West 21
Valley View put up a season high in points and snapped its two game losing streak. If the Cougars can win next week, they will get a home game in the district semifinals.
North Pocono 28, Delaware Valley 21 (OT)
North Pocono won the LFC Division I thanks to a fourth down stop in overtime. Cole West rushed for 209 yards and a touchdown and Chase Zimmerman rushed for two touchdowns. The Trojans will have their biggest test of the season next week against Scranton Prep.
Mid Valley 38, Western Wayne 0
Mid Valley kept its postseason hopes alive with their second shutout win of the season. Mason Vinansky rushed for 220 yards and a touchdown for the Spartans. The Spartans will need a win against Lakeland next week to make the playoffs.
Dallas 37, Hazleton 7
Dallas won its third straight game and dominated in all three phases of the game. Sam Kelley rushed for two touchdowns and added a third on a punt return.
Lackawanna Trail 53, Holy Cross 12
Isaac Ryon continued his streak of incredible performances with a 242 rushing yard, six touchdown game. The Lions will be the No. 1 seed in the District II/XI subregional and will visit Riverside next week with the LFC Division III title on the line.
Hanover Area 35, Lake-Lehman 0
Hanover Area kept its playoff hopes alive with a key win over a division rival. Dewayne Downey was the star, rushing for 137 yards and two touchdowns.
Lakeland 35, West Scranton 14
The Chiefs took a 35-0 lead into the fourth quarter before West Scranton added a couple late scores. Jackson Pochas caught five passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns for the Chiefs.
Wyoming Area 60, Nanticoke 7
Wyoming Area built a 48-0 lead by halftime and now shifts its attention to its annual rivalry game with Pittston Area. Six different Warriors scored a rushing touchdown in their win over the Trojans.
Carbondale 32, Susquehanna 13
The Chargers snapped a two game losing streak with a win over Susquehanna. Francisco Roman carried the rock 22 times for 107 yards and a score for Carbondale.
Holy Redeemer 38, Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech 12
The Royals won their second game of the season and matched a season high 38 points. They allowed a season low 12 points.
Montrose 12, Renaissance Academy 7
Montrose won its third game of the year, and all three wins have been on the road. For the second straight week, the Meteors defense held their opponents to under 17 points.
