Riverside quarterback Brayden Rose passed for four touchdowns and rushed for another score in a dominant win for the Vikings. Penn State Head Coach James Franklin was in attendance to watch Penn State commit Tavian Branch.
Lackawanna Trail 49, Mid Valley 27
Isaac Ryon rushed for 295 yards and five touchdowns to lead Lackawanna Trail to their second straight win. The Lions enter division play as the reigning champs with a strong chance to repeat.
Pittston Area 36, Dallas 35 (OT)
Pittston won its biggest game in a long time thanks to a two-point conversion by Brody Spindler. Spindler finished the night with 196 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Dunmore 43, Carbondale 14
Dunmore leaned on the ground game to back over .500. Four different players recorded a rushing touchdown for the Bucks.
Berwick 56, Hanover Area 19
Ty’Meere Wilkerson once again led the way with 265 rushing yards and five touchdowns for Berwick. The Bulldogs improved to 5-0 and will host undefeated Wyoming Area on Friday.
Lakeland 42, Susquehanna 7
Lakeland had a balanced attack and put up over 40 points for the third time this year. Chiefs quarterback David Naniewicz passed for two touchdowns and scored one more with his legs.
Western Wayne 21, Old Forge 14
Western Wayne got its first win since week one. Quinn Swartz scored all three Wildcats touchdowns on the ground.
Valley View 49, Honesdale 8
Valley View put up a season high in points against its former coach. Six of the seven Cougars’ touchdowns were rushing scores.
Wyoming Valley West 31, Hazleton 25
Wyoming Valley West won its first game since Week 1 of 2023. Running back Malique Campbell rushed for 95 yards and one touchdown.
Wyoming Area 42, Tunkhannock 0
Wyoming Area kept their undefeated season alive ahead of a massive game against Berwick on Friday. Nick Ciampi and Trustin Johnson both had two rushing touchdowns each.
Delaware Valley 35, Wallenpaupack 21
Delaware Valley picked up its first win over the year. Quarterback Colin McGarvey went 14-17 for 162 yards and two touchdowns.
Wilkes-Barre 42, West Scranton 14
Wilkes-Barre quarterback Jake Howe threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns. Howe also rushed for a touchdown.
Crestwood 58, Nanticoke 14
Crestwood got back above .500 with its third straight win. Both Jaden Shedlock and Teddy Taylor threw for two touchdowns for the Comets.
Scranton Prep 42, Scranton 14
Scranton Prep won its second straight game. Will McPartland accounted for four Cavaliers’ touchdowns.
Holy Cross 54, Columbia-Montour Vo Tech 22
Holy Cross won its first game since Week 1 in dominating fashion. Kevin Vincent rushed for 219 yards and five touchdowns.
North Pocono 24, Abington Heights 10
North Pocono stayed undefeated with a win over a division rival in Abington Heights. Joe Briskie rushed for 129 yards and one touchdown.
Lake-Lehman 56, Holy Redeemer 6
Jaydon Skipalis had five carries for 137 yards and two touchdowns. Lake-Lehman scored all eight of their touchdowns on the ground.
