In District 2, the preseason coaches’ polls for both Big School and Small School divisions have dropped and this isn’t one person’s take. It’s the ripple effect of dozens of voices, coaches from across the district weighing in, wrestling with strength of schedule, returning talent, scrimmage results, and trusted instincts. This isn’t fluff, this is feedback fine tuned through collective insight.
Despite the early August lull, District 2’s final scrimmages act like crankshaft checks, tuning lineups, testing depth charts, and simulating the heat of real competition before Week 1 kicks off in just days. No surprise that that same attention to performance carries over into the coaches’ voting.
