Danville Dominates Midd-West in 16-3 Victory

The Danville Ironmen put on an offensive showcase against Midd-West, cruising to a dominant 16-3 victory today. The Ironmen exploded for an 11-run inning in the 3rd, breaking the game wide open and leaving the Mustangs with little chance of a comeback.
Midd-West struggled to get their offense going, managing just 2 hits throughout the game. Braxton Smith and Kyle Shupp were the only players to record hits for the Mustangs.
On the other side, Danville’s bats were red-hot, collecting 12 hits. Garrett Hoffman led the charge, going 3-for-3 with 3 runs scored, 5 RBIs, a double, and a homerun. Daniel Walker also contributed heavily, finishing with 2 hits, 2 runs scored, 2 RBIs, and 2 doubles. Cole Duffy added to the offensive explosion, going 1-for-3 with a double, 1 run scored, and 2 RBIs.
Kaleb Stetler earned the win on the mound for Danville, pitching 3 solid innings and striking out 2 batters. His performance helped keep the Midd-West lineup off balance, contributing to the Ironmen’s comprehensive victory.
