Unranked Crestwood delivered a statement performance on Saturday, knocking off Wilkes-Barre Area 56–39 in WVC Division I action. The Comets set the tone defensively, holding the Wolfpack to single digits in three of the four quarters and controlling the game from the opening tip. Crestwood steadily built its lead behind consistent stops and disciplined play, never allowing Wilkes-Barre Area to find an offensive rhythm.
Offensively, Crestwood was led by Miles Metz and Ayden Agapito, who each finished with 14 points, while Jack Rogers added 11. The Comets finished with 17 made field goals and went 18-for-24 from the free-throw line, capitalizing at the stripe throughout the night. Wilkes-Barre Area was paced by David Jannuzzi and Mike Keating, who combined for 28 of the Wolfpack’s 39 points, but Crestwood’s balance and defensive pressure proved to be the difference in a notable win for the program.
