March 15, 2025 – Crestwood’s magical postseason run continues as they punched their ticket to the PIAA 5A Final Four with a hard-fought 54-47 victory over Strath Haven. A dominant third-quarter surge proved to be the difference, helping Crestwood pull away and withstand a late push from Strath Haven.


The game was tightly contested through the first half, with Strath Haven clinging to a narrow 25-26 lead at the break. Crestwood found their rhythm in the third quarter, outscoring Strath Haven 22-12 behind balanced scoring from multiple contributors. Though Strath Haven fought back in the fourth, Crestwood’s defense held firm to secure the win.


Balanced Effort Leads Crestwood

Crestwood’s offense was powered by a well-rounded team effort. Cameron Vieney led the way with 11 points, including a key three-pointer, while Jackie Gallagher (10 points) and Kendall Petrosky (10 points) provided crucial contributions. Charlie Hiller added 8 points, and Jordan Andrews chipped in 7, giving Crestwood a diverse offensive attack.


Strath Haven’s Fanning Shines in Defeat

Despite the loss, Strath Haven’s Maddie Fanning put on an impressive performance, leading all scorers with 21 points, including two three-pointers. Maryella Gill added 12 points, knocking down two shots from beyond the arc, while Liv Voshell scored 10. However, Strath Haven struggled to keep pace with Crestwood’s third-quarter explosion.
