County 3-on-3 Tournament Brings NEPA Hoopers Together for Two Days of Streetball Showdowns

SCRANTON, PA — Over 50 teams from across Northeastern Pennsylvania took to the streets of Scranton this past Friday and Saturday for the highly anticipated Lackawanna County 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. With divisions spanning elementary school through adult, players brought the energy, skill, and competitive spirit that turned downtown into a streetball spectacle.

Organized by the County of Lackawanna, the two-day event featured non-stop action as teams battled for bragging rights and championship titles in their respective age groups. Crowds gathered along the sidewalks to cheer on their hometown squads while music, food, and community support added to the lively atmosphere.


Whether it was rising stars making their first tournament run or veteran players returning for more, the tournament showcased the region’s passion for basketball and the power of sport to bring people together.
