Crestwood captured the Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 championship with a 2–1 comeback victory over Wyoming Area on Saturday at Wilkes-Barre Area’s Wolfpack Stadium. Wyoming Area struck first late in the second quarter when Lucia Campenni scored off an assist from Juliana Siani, giving the Warriors a 1–0 halftime advantage. The Comets answered quickly in the third quarter as Allie Myers tied the game from Alex Geiger’s pass, then just 1 minute 45 seconds later, Myers set up Kasey Obes for what proved to be the game-winner. Wyoming Area held slight edges in shots (8–5) and corners (6–5), but Crestwood converted when it mattered most. Madi Geiger recorded five saves for Crestwood, and Rylee Muniz finished with three for Wyoming Area.

The win secured Crestwood the outright Division 1 crown after both teams finished the regular season tied atop the standings, forcing Saturday’s playoff tiebreaker. It also marked the Comets’ second victory over Wyoming Area this year, following their earlier regular-season meeting. Both programs now shift focus to the upcoming District 2 postseason: Crestwood enters as the top seed in Class 2A and receives a quarterfinal bye, while Wyoming Area advances as one of the top contenders in Class A.
