Cavaliers Catch Fire Behind Holmes' Eight-Goal Explosion

In a commanding display on Wednesday, April 23, the Scranton Prep Cavaliers boys lacrosse team rolled to a 20–8 win over the Dallas Mountaineers.

Senior standout Brady Holmes erupted for eight goals to lead the charge, putting constant pressure on the Dallas defense. Midfielders Mackie Lynott (2 goals, 2 assists) and Grady Toolan (3 goals, 2 assists) added firepower to an already electric attack. Sophomore Braden McPartland chipped in with 2 goals and an assist, while Colin McMullen added a goal and a helper.

Additional scoring came from Jack Rully, Trevon Dickey, Brian James, and Reese Tanner. Chris Ramey and Max McGrath each dished out two assists. On defense, James Stallman and Pack James combined for three saves in goal.

For Dallas, Noah Greco and Trevor Myers each netted a pair, while Sam Kelly and Noah Moran both finished with a goal and an assist. Goalie Clarke Van Orden turned away nine shots in the effort.
