Holy Redeemer made a statement Friday at Casey Park, blanking Dunmore 10-0 in a complete team performance that featured dominant pitching and explosive offense.

Anne Carter was in command from the start, allowing just one hit across six shutout innings. The right-hander struck out nine and walked two, keeping Dunmore hitters off balance all game.

Redeemer’s offense backed her early and often. Abby Williams got things rolling with a first-inning double to put the Royals on the board. In the second, Grace Stetz-Madden drove in a run with a single before Zoe Pecuch delivered the big blow — a bases-clearing triple to push the lead to 5-0.

Two more runs came across in the third on an RBI single from Isabella Boylan and a groundout by Lauren Hayden. The Royals kept applying pressure with aggressive baserunning, swiping five total bases — two by Williams.

Williams and Stetz-Madden each collected two hits, while Pecuch and Williams drove in two runs apiece. Redeemer was flawless in the field, with Katie Genovese leading the way with nine defensive chances.

Dunmore’s lone hit came from starting pitcher Paige Ancherani, who also pitched five and two-thirds innings and recorded four strikeouts. The Lady Bucks turned one double play but couldn’t slow down Redeemer’s momentum.

From pitching to power, Redeemer controlled every inning in a lopsided win to remember.
