Bennett’s Three-Hit Performance Leads Mid Valley to 12-1 Rout of Hanover Area

Mid Valley Junior Teeners Tourney Team 2025 delivered a dominant offensive display to defeat Hanover Area Juniors 12-1 on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.

Mid Valley jumped out to an early lead, scoring three runs in the first inning before adding five more in the second and four in the third. The offense racked up 14 hits in total, with Jacob Bennett leading the way by going a perfect 3-for-3, including a double, three runs scored, and four total bases. Bradley Siegfried and Dom DelRosso each collected multiple hits, while Anthony Mancuso and John Bohanski contributed key RBIs to extend the lead.


Mid Valley’s attack featured extra-base hits from J Bennett, C Thatcher, B Siegfried, and D DelRosso, with five doubles overall. The team also showcased aggressive baserunning, stealing six bases, including three by Bennett.

Aiden Siegfried controlled the game on the mound for Mid Valley, tossing a complete five-inning outing. He held Hanover Area to just three hits and one unearned run, striking out six and walking three to earn the win.

Hanover Area was limited to three hits on the day, with Leo Seiger, Landon Havard, and Angel Vergara each recording one. Havard drove in Hanover’s lone run with a single in the fourth inning.

On the pitching side for Hanover, Seiger started and allowed eight runs (seven earned) on seven hits over two innings. Tyler Cole pitched three innings in relief, surrendering four runs on six hits.

Mid Valley’s defense committed no errors, and they stranded just six runners on base, while Hanover Area left four runners.

With the win, Mid Valley improved its tournament record and showcased a powerful, balanced offensive effort along with a strong performance from the mound, setting the tone as they prepare for the State Tournament round at DuBois, Pa.
