WALLENPAUPACK — Abington Heights senior wide receiver Gavin Anders made history Friday night, becoming the program’s all-time leader in career receptions with 119, surpassing former standout Mason Fedor (’24) who held the previous mark of 118.

Anders continued to deliver in the Comets’ 31–14 win over Wallenpaupack, hauling in six catches for 73 yards and a touchdown as Abington Heights improved to 6–2 on the season.

With his consistent hands, route-running precision, and leadership on and off the field, Anders has cemented himself among the greats in Abington Heights football history.

Next up, the Comets return home for Homecoming Night on Thursday, October 16, when they host Scranton High under the lights at 7 p.m.
