The Abington Heights boys lacrosse team put on a dominant performance against Tunkhannock, cruising to a 20-2 victory. The Comets took control from the start, building a commanding 12-2 lead by halftime and never looking back.
G. Anders led the way for Abington with three goals and two assists, while G. Lindsay also netted three goals. E. Davis showcased his playmaking abilities with two goals and two assists, while L. Fedor contributed two goals and one assist. R. Azar also made an impact with two goals and one assist.
The scoring depth was on full display as T. Loss and L. Contereas each scored twice. A. White also added two goals, while B. Pallis and C. Bohn each chipped in with a goal. Goalie C. Naholnik made three saves to keep Tunkhannock’s offense in check.
Tunkhannock managed to score twice, with A. Werkheiser and M. Berkhimer each finding the back of the net, and A. Powers adding an assist. Goalie B. French was kept busy throughout the game, making 10 saves despite facing heavy offensive pressure.
Coach Andrew Billen commended his team for their focus and execution, highlighting their balanced scoring and tenacious defense. Abington Heights’ impressive all-around performance continues to build momentum as they progress through the season.
