Week 5 brought plenty of excitement and upsets in District 4 small schools, and the rankings going into Week 6 reflect those significant results. Here’s a breakdown of how the key performances from Week 5 affected the SportzWire Small School Top 10 rankings for Week 6.
Troy Holds Strong at #1
Troy remains the team to beat, holding onto the #1 spot after a commanding 56-13 victory over Towanda. Troy’s consistent play and dominant offense continue to impress as they keep a firm grip on the top position in the rankings.
Danville Secures #2 Spot

Loyalsock Township Climbs to #6
Loyalsock Township also saw an upward move in the rankings, going from #9 in Week 5 to #6 after a hard-fought 20-13 win over Bloomsburg. Their ability to win close games has kept them in the mix among the top teams.
Muncy Holds Steady at #8
Muncy held onto their spot at #8, putting in a commanding performance with a 61-20 win over Sayre. The offense continues to impress, keeping them in the top 10 as they look to continue climbing.
