Shifting Tides: Analyzing the Latest Rankings in District 4 Football

After 3 weeks down, the Big School and Small School Sportzwire Top 10, powered by Coach Hazlet @coachs_healthfitness has seen some shifts in the rankings. In the category of small schools within District 4, it’s no surprise that the state powerhouse Southern Columbia retains its number one ranking. Troy has ascended from third to second place following a decisive win against South Williamsport, coupled with Canton’s loss. Danville has moved up to third place after a double-digit victory over Montoursville. Warrior Run has made a significant leap from eighth to fourth place after shutting out Midd-West. Mount Carmel has advanced from ninth to sixth by winning a close match against Mifflinburg. Lewisburg rises to seventh place with a strong victory over Bloomsburg. Wyalusing defeated Wellsboro, breaking into the top ten for the first time this year, landing in eighth place. After losing to the now third-ranked Danville, Montoursville has slipped from fifth to ninth place. Additionally, Loyalsock Township has re-entered the top ten by defeating Hughesville.
