Montrose Meteors Shine at Home with Big Night from Russell

The Montrose Meteors dominated on their home court with a commanding 56-39 victory over the Blue Ridge Raiders. Montrose used consistent scoring and strong defense to keep the Raiders at bay throughout the contest.
Montrose's Jack Russell led all scorers with 21 points, including 10 in a critical third quarter that sealed the game's momentum. Connor Flynn contributed 10 points, with some timely buckets in the 3rd and Lucas Cokely chipped in with 9 points for the Montrose, 5 of which ingnited the Meterors in the 1st; rounding out a balanced offensive effort.
For Blue Ridge, Paxton Pingerelli was the standout performer, finishing with 15 points. Despite Paxton's efforts, the Raiders struggled to find an offensive rhythm in the 4th quarter and crunch time against Montrose's staunch defense.
