As we head into Week 10 of the District 4 high school football season, the Small School Top 10 rankings continue to highlight the competitive nature of the region. Powered by Coach Hazlet, the rankings see some familiar teams holding their ground, while others make slight but significant moves.

Troy remains the clear leader, solidifying their position as the top-ranked small school team for the second consecutive week. Their undefeated run has kept them comfortably at the top, as they continue to prove themselves against tough competition.

Right behind them, Danville and Lewisburg also maintain their #2 and #3 spots, respectively, showing no signs of letting up. These teams have been models of consistency, both holding their positions from Week 9.

The middle of the rankings is where we start to see some movement. Mount Carmel stays firm at #4, but Muncy and Towanda have made moves in Week 10. Towanda jumps from #7 to #6, swapping places with Loyalsock Township, who slips one spot to #7. Both teams are battling hard in the final stretch of the season, and Towanda’s recent performances seem to have given them the edge in this week’s standings.

Southern Columbia and Line Mountain also make a small shift, with Southern Columbia moving up to #8, pushing Line Mountain down to #9. The perennial powerhouse Southern Columbia has fought to regain footing after a challenging start, while Line Mountain continues to hang on in the competitive field.

Closing out the Top 10, Montgomery holds on to the #10 spot, staying consistent from Week 9.

As the regular season nears its end, all eyes will be on these top teams to see who can maintain their momentum and who may fall victim to the pressure. With playoffs on the horizon, each game becomes more critical as teams look to solidify their spots in the rankings and claim their place in District 4 history.
